Moving Assistance Program
We understand that making a move can be overwhelming. So relax and let Freedom Village assist you with everything from planning to packing.
Our Moving Assistance Coordinator will:
- Contact the moving company
- Transfer your telephone or establish a new number (if you are new to the area)
- Notify the post office of your change of address
- Provide you with information about estate sales, donation pickups, etc.
- Notify Housekeeping to make up your bed
- Notify Maintenance to connect your cable to your TV
- Order your evening meal to be delivered the first night
- Welcome you to your new home and check on you through moving day
Remember on moving day to pack an overnight tote bag with your medication, eye glasses, checkbook, keys and other important items for easy access.
