BEFORE YOUR MOVE

• Freedom Village will assist with the transfer of your telephone number or establish a new number (if you are new to the area).
  
  
• Freedom Village will notify the post office of your change of address and provide you with new address labels.
  
  
• Freedom Village will assist you with your furniture placement.
  
  
• Freedom Village is available to assist you with canceling your utilities, if requested.
  
  
• Freedom Village will provide you with information about estate sales and donation pickups.
  
  
• Freedom Village's Moving Assistance Coordinator will be in touch throughout the planning process. Remember to pack an overnight tote bag with your medication, eye glasses, checkbook and keys.
  

ON THE DAY OF YOUR MOVE

• Freedom Village's Housekeeping Department staff will make up your bed and notify you of your weekly cleaning day.
  
  
• Freedom Village's Maintenance Department staff will connect your cable and schedule an appointment to hang your pictures.
  
  
• Freedom Village's Dining Room staff will deliver lunch and dinner for your convenience.
